I purchased a Blue-headed Macaw from Timies Birds in late 2021. Because they are rare birds, I wanted to buy the bird as quickly as I could, but my job had me out of the country for a month. They were able to work with me to hold the bird until I was able to return.
The bird was delivered in a way I felt showed a lot of care and professionalism. The pet carrier he came in was well-modified for the bird’s safety and comfort. They even called after the plane carrying the bird landed to make sure everyone made it safely.
The baby bird arrived in fantastic condition and seemed very happy and healthy. They offered very thorough instructions on care and feeding, and I was able to buy food and toys at the same time from them. The toys and food were delivered a couple of days ahead of the bird so there was no chance of being caught off-guard without food when the bird arrived.
